Advancing genomics research

in the heart of Vanderbilt

The forefront of BIOINFORMATICS

Within the Division of Genetic Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the Bick Lab is expanding the limits of our understanding of Clonal Hematopoiesis of Indeterminate Potential (CHIP). We are doing so by innovating and leveraging tomorrow’s genomic analysis platforms like All of Us and Terra.bio, by advancing the alignment of computational genomics with the personalization of medicine to create programs that can identify patients at risk of CHIP, and by exploring models of clonal expansion in different species to help elucidate CHIP’s underlying mechanisms.
